REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – The composite stock price index (CSPI) in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Thursday (26/5) opened higher by 4.59 points, or 0.10 percent, to 4777.56. While the group of 45 leading stocks rose 1.57 or move LQ45 points (0.2 percent) to 820.88.

“It is projected that the JCI today (Thursday, 05.26) will move in the range of 4750-4805 points,” he said.

Vice President of Research and Analysis Valbury Asia Securities Nico Omer Jonckheere added that the sentiment of the country with respect to Bank Indonesia (BI) implying return to monetary easing hit ratio of loan to value (LTV) will have a positive impact on the banking sector stocks.
“Mix the positive sentiment was an opportunity for JCI to resume its gains in stocks trading today,” he said.

Meanwhile in the regional markets, including Bursa Hang Seng index fell 104.05 points (0.51 percent) to 20264.00 levels, the index Nikkei rose 57.83 points (0.35 percent) to a level of 16815.18, and the Straits Times rose 7.94 points (0.30 percent) to 2775.47 position.
